Agudas Yisroel of Staten Island
Known to Staten Islanders simply as “The Agudah.” An Orthodox congregation in the Willowbrook section of Staten Island, New York.
Agudas Yisroel of Staten Island — known to Staten Islanders and to visitors simply as The Agudah — is a shul in the plainest sense of the word: a place with minyanim every day, a beis medrash that stays lit, and a membership that carries the building. Most of what we do is measured in ordinary things: a minyan that makes it on a Tuesday morning in February, a family that gets meals for two weeks, a bochur who finds a chavrusa.
The Agudah is led by our rav, Rabbi Moshe Klein, shlita, who decides all matters of halacha and hashkafa for the kehillah.
Day-to-day, an elected board handles the shul’s affairs. The gabbaim manage the tefillos, aliyos and kibbudim; the treasurer handles membership, dues and the annual appeal.

Our legal name is Agudas Yisroel of Staten Island. We are a religious congregation incorporated in the State of New York and recognised by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organisation. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
